The Polka Dot Rose
Natures mix of sulphuric, volcanic gases (vog) and rain re-create the beauty of a red rose into "The Polka Dot Rose". This rose bloomed on Valentine's Day 2008 in Volcano, Hawaii. Due to the vog levels on that day in the air mixing with the water droplets of rain that gently fell on the petals, a unique polka dotted rose was re-created from a newly opened blushing red rose by mother nature and a little help from the Volcano goddess "Pele".
